Being honest about personal challenges is the best way to tell your story. It starts with passion and end with eating fried chicken and beer!
My Journey

It started with passion
15 years ago, I was a student in Engineering faculty hoping to study mechanical engineering. I was obsessed with Japanese anime and I decided to build a website for anime fans in my country Egypt. I didn't have any money to hire an expert so I decided to build it myself by learning how to design and how to write code. At this time there weren't a good tutorials and courses. I suffered a lot to learn it by myself. Finally, My website was published and I fell in love with web design.

Big Decision!
I decided to leave Engineering Faculty and move to computer science. I learned programming, algorithms and data structures. I discovered that we always need design before writing code and that lead me to learn design. I applied to art and design diploma and joined premium courses.

Shaping My Mind
Now, I have the knowledge of both fields that control IT and software industry. Design & Programming or development. I loved web design so i made my focus on it. I specialized in web design & development.

Bad News!
After studying Philosophy, Science , History, .. etc. I no longer believe in Islam as religion from god. I never been convinced, I was just born Muslim because Arabs conquer my country Egypt and spread Islamic religion and Arabic language. My boss fired me from my job and told me either I back to Islam or lose my job as a senior web designer & developer. It was very cruel after what i have done for this company. No one wanted to hire me after discovering I am an ex-Muslim. I couldn't pay my rent or buy food.

Never give up
I decided to be a freelancer for the first time. I joined freelancing platform such as upwork, freelancer, toptal. I remember when I started, I hadn’t eat anything for a month. I was very hungry and tired but I tried working without food until I got my first client and he was amazed with results. I got paid and bought food for my favorite meal. Fried chicken bucket from Kentucky with beer. It tasted different this time. It tastes freedom. I got to know clients from USA, England, Germany and many other countries. I felt love working with all of them. I felt I belong to the world and no thing can stop me.
